Through the Research Support Desk, research can ask all research-related questions and be connected with the most appropriate expert, department or source of information.

This is a central entry point for support on methodology, data analysis, data management, and other research topics. We assist researchers with questions about research proposals, funding, data, regulations, and the conduct of research. We also provide guidance when the required support has not yet been identified.

We help researchers manage, store, share, and reuse research data responsibly throughout the research lifecycle. Our experts provide practical guidance on data management, FAIR data & software practices, and good research data practices.

This support is provided by Advanced Data Management.   

We help researchers work with large and complex biological datasets, such as DNA, RNA, or other sequencing data. Our experts can advise on how to process, analyse, and interpret these data. We support both routine and advanced analyses and can help select the most appropriate methods and software for your project. For complex projects, our involvement may extend to a longer-term scientific collaboration and the development of new analytical methods.

We help researchers design, conduct, analyse, and evaluate research studies. Our experts provide advice on study design, statistical analyses, epidemiology, and health economic evaluations.

We can support you in choosing the right methods to answer your research question, determining how much data is needed, selecting appropriate analyses, and reviewing study protocols. We also advise on the design and evaluation of clinical and observational studies.
